"We began by supporting children and young people. Over time, many of the parents, carers and professionals we worked alongside began exploring their own experiences too. This journey strengthened my belief that every person's story matters and deserves to be understood.

I believe that greater curiosity, open conversations and meaningful collaboration are essential. When we take the time to understand the whole person and value different perspectives, we create a fuller picture that enables earlier intervention, stronger support and greater opportunities for success. Today, Childhood Matters provides assessment, consultancy, advocacy and support for children, young people and adults, helping people feel understood, valued and empowered."
