Attendance Solutions Consultancy Package
Attendance is never just about presence in school — it is about connection, belonging and understanding what sits behind a young person's ability to engage. Our Attendance Solutions Package supports schools to take a professionally curious, inclusive and solution-focused approach to attendance, moving beyond compliance alone to explore the underlying causes of absence.
We combine expert knowledge of Working Together to Improve School Attendance (Statutory Guidance, August 2024) with deep understanding of SEND, safeguarding, inclusion and alternative provision. This allows us to support schools in recognising and responding to the complex interplay between anxiety, emotional wellbeing, unmet needs and relational factors that often underpin Emotional Based School Non Attendance (EBSA) and other social, emotional and trauma related barriers to attendance.
The package includes
One full day on-site consultancy, including:
- Audit of your attendance policy, systems and practice
- Review of implementation of statutory attendance guidance
- Exploration of attendance data through an inclusion, safeguarding and wellbeing lens
- Professionally curious discussions with leaders to identify underlying contextual drivers of absence, including EBSNA, SEND, Trauma and SEMH-related barriers
- Identification of strengths and areas for development
You will receive
A bespoke written action plan setting out clear priorities, practical recommendations and next steps to strengthen attendance practice, improve consistency and develop more inclusive and relational approaches to supporting students.
