Face-to-Face Provision
Our packages
Package 1: Student Mentoring
Ten weekly sessions of 1 hour of individualised 1:1 provision
Each session offers one hour of engaging, purposeful activities carefully matched with the individual child/young person, focused on EHCP or other individualised outcomes, preparing for adulthood and developing confidence with essential life skills. Sessions place particular emphasis on social and emotional mental health, wellbeing, communication, sense of self and re-engagement with learning.
Within the package, the mentor weaves together emotional awareness work (delivered directly or discreetly, depending on what works for the child/young person), social skills development, regular 'check-ins' and explicit 'circle of trust' work – all building steadily towards agreed outcomes.
Progress is tracked throughout using appropriate monitoring tools, emotion cards and wellbeing assessments, and regular session reports are provided.
Package 2: Resilience Building
Ten weekly half-day sessions of 2.5 hours of individualised 1:1 provision
Our Resilience Building package offers a weekly half-day of outdoor and community-based activity, planned and delivered around the child/young person's own strengths and interests. Sessions provide rich pro-social opportunities that develop a genuine sense of achievement, resilience, wellbeing and engagement – the building blocks for a successful return to learning.
Activities might include visits to museums, galleries, farm parks and pottery cafés, alongside other outdoor and hands-on experiences chosen with and for the child/young person, aligned to clear outcomes. A high level of flexibility and adaptability, with a constant focus on relationship building and interest-led learning with an experienced and appropriately trained mentor/teacher, ensures every session remains accessible – even for children and young people for whom other provision has not yet been the right fit. Regular session reports are provided.
